Where can I download BabyTeller?

BabyTeller is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with its Apple Watch app. It needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The launch offer described below is available in the app.

What is included in Pro?

Pro includes caregiver invitations from the first invitation, multiple children, ongoing dictation, Fortune Teller predictions on every surface, interactive widgets, Lock Screen and Control Center logging, and the Apple Watch app. The launch price is $9.99 USD, paid once for a lifetime Pro unlock, with no subscription. Future Pro software additions are included; any future physical products are separate purchases. Your local App Store will show the price before purchase.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Choose Try Pro and confirm the free 7-day Trial through the App Store. Your original trial date is restored if you reinstall. When it ends, you can buy the one-time unlock or continue using the free features. There is no automatic charge and nothing to cancel. Your logs, milestones, photos and existing child records remain accessible. You can finish ongoing timers, and free solo logging and basic exports remain available. New caregiver invitations require Pro. Joining during a trial does not create a permanent Pro entitlement.

What stays free?

Logging and timers for one baby, your complete history and daily summaries, Siri logging and answers about what you have logged, milestone cards and photo galleries including Live Photos and portraits, sharing cards straight from iMessage, milestone videos, growth tracking, reminders, widgets you read at a glance, a running timer on your Lock Screen, importing your history from another baby app, and exporting your records, original photos and videos. Day and night colors are included too.

Can I bring my history from another baby app?

Yes, and it's free. Export a spreadsheet from your old app and save it to your iPhone. In BabyTeller, open Settings, then Your data, then Import from another app, and choose the file. Nothing already in BabyTeller changes. If you have already started logging here, it leaves out the file's entries from after your first one here, so no day shows twice.

When it finishes, it tells you what came in, what was kept as a note and what was left out. Remove this import takes out exactly what that file added, and nothing else. If BabyTeller doesn't recognize your file, write to [email protected] and tell us which app it came from.

Which devices are supported?

The iPhone and iPad app requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Voice features depend on device, language and on-device speech support; speech assets may need to download before first use. The Apple Watch companion works with the paired iPhone.

How do I get started with Siri?

Use a phrase such as “Start the left side in BabyTeller” or “Log a wet diaper in BabyTeller.” Include the app’s name so Siri knows where to send the command. The app’s Siri guide lists supported phrases. Siri logging and factual answers about your recorded events are free. Prediction answers from Fortune Teller require Pro.

If something doesn’t work as expected, tell us the exact phrase, your iPhone model and iOS version. You can also use Shortcuts to customize a phrase.

Can my partner or caregiver use it too?

Yes. The owner needs Pro or an active 7-day Pro trial to invite a caregiver, starting with the first invitation. Invited caregivers can join and log without buying Pro. Up to 100 caregivers and multiple children with Pro; the 100 includes the owner. There are no extra caregiver or child fees. Invite them from Sharing in Settings. Each caregiver needs a compatible Apple device and their own Apple Account with iCloud. Changes sync when your devices are connected; offline entries sync when connectivity returns.

Does sharing the log also share Pro?

One owner purchase enables invited caregivers to participate in the shared log, including logging for the household’s children. Every invited caregiver gets all Pro features while using that shared family. The invitation does not grant a personal Pro purchase for an unrelated family. App Store Family Sharing is a separate way eligible family members can receive the purchase.

Does it work offline?

Manual logging works offline. The dictation page can work offline after its language assets are installed on your iPhone. Siri has its own availability requirements. Changes reach other caregivers when your devices reconnect.

Are predictions available?

Fortune Teller is built into BabyTeller and is part of Pro. It works out likely feeds, naps and bedtime from your baby’s age and your own log, and always shows what each guess is based on. Guesses are windows, never a schedule, and it will never tell you your baby is late. None of it is medical advice: follow your baby’s cues and your clinician’s guidance.

Are the growth percentiles medical advice?

No. BabyTeller plots the measurements you enter against published WHO and CDC growth data so you can see the same curve your pediatrician draws. It is a record, not an assessment, and it cannot tell you whether your baby is growing well. Only your clinician can do that. If a number worries you, ask them rather than the app.

How do I add a video to a milestone?

Open a milestone, or start a new one, and tap Choose from library. Pick a video, then slide the window to the part you want and drag either end to make it shorter. A clip can be up to a minute long. Tap Done and the clip is ready in a moment. A minute of video uses about 45 MB of your iCloud storage, and the editor shows the size as you choose. Milestone videos are free.

How do I share a milestone?

Open a milestone and choose Share. Pick a keepsake card, photo grid or hero with a gallery, then choose the photos and details to include. Your baby’s name, the date and your caption are included by default; you can turn any of them off in Details. To send a card from an existing conversation, open BabyTeller from the + menu in Messages. Both are free.

Can family save the photos?

The milestone card is shared as an image they can open and save. To include each original still photo too, share from BabyTeller and turn on Include individual photos. The Messages extension adds one complete card, including the photos in your selected grid. Shared Live Photos are still images for now, and a milestone video shows on the card as a still from the clip; the motion and the video stay inside BabyTeller.

Where is my data?

On your devices, and synced through your iCloud when enabled. We do not automatically receive your baby’s log. See the privacy policy for details, including the distinction between dictation and Siri.

I got a new phone. Is my log still there?

If the log has synced to iCloud, signing in with the same Apple Account lets it sync to the new phone. Check that your data has synced before retiring the old device.
